Hello fellow Rotarians,

Did you know that November is Rotary Foundation Month? Our Rotary Foundation, which funds Polio Plus, Global Grants, District Grants, and Rotary Peace Centers, is at the heart of what we do. In honor of this being Rotary Foundation Month, the After Hours Club will be doing an extra special points and dollar matching through the end of the year. I hope you can made it to the meeting this Sunday to hear the details in person, but I will also be sending out the information on Monday. In the meantime, please take a minute to check out this compilation of figure from the past five years that illustrates the generosity of Rotarians around the world and the good work that we do together:  Rotary: A Foundation to Build On.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I want to tell you how thankful I am to be part of such a great Rotary Club. The dedication that our members show through sharing their time, talents, and experience inspires me in the rest of my life. I'm especially thankful for the tremendous amount of support from the board - thank you Chelsea, Connor, Lori, Casey, and Travis for all that you do!

Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving!
See you on Sunday!

Erin Luken
2019-2020 President

Marsy's Law for Wisconsin is seeking to amend the Wisconsin State Constitution to strengthen victim's rights. They are a non-partisan organization, and are fortunate that their proposed amendment has successfully passed the Wisconsin State Legislature twice with strong bipartisan support. The constitutional amendment will now be voted upon in a statewide ballot referendum on the April 7, 2020 election. More information can be found at http://www.equalrightsforwi.com.
