Hello everyone,

For those who couldn’t make it to our meeting last week, we took some time to celebrate our remarkable accomplishments from our annual Bucky Beads sale. We weathered the heat, rain, and cold before the home Badger football games this season to sell beads and ponchos to raise funds in support of our current and future Rotary Youth Exchange students.  Through the 6 games we worked this year, we raised $2,370!!! That’s incredible.  Thank you to everyone who participated and especially to an exceptional leader in our club, Adam Gallagher, for all of his hard work in making this a successful fundraiser.

As the holidays approach we have some fantastic events to look forward to, including our trivia night, Lussier Community Center food pantry shift, and holiday celebration social.  More information on all of those events can be found below and on our website.

This Sunday we welcome GiGi’s Playhouse to our club meeting.  I had the opportunity to attend their annual gala fundraiser a few weeks ago and it didn’t take long for me to understand the tremendous impact they make on kids and adults in our community with Down syndrome.  I can’t wait for us to hear more and to hopefully join them for future events to help make a positive impact for those families.

See you on Sunday!
