Greetings,

I hope everyone is finding the time to check things off of their summer bucket lists.  This is a fun time of year in Madison to get out and hear live music at the Terrace, go for a journey down one of the countless bike paths, and come visit your favorite Rotarians at Brocach on Sunday night!

This week we have the extraordinary pleasure to hear from Jacy Imilkowski on how the neuroscience of conversation can help us work together.  Check out her fascinating background here and join us on Sunday night to hear from her yourself.

Other items to keep on your radar:
  • It’s not too late to sign up for our volunteer shift on Tuesday, Aug. 28th at the Community Action Coalition Food Bank.  See additional information below and contact us if you’d like to help out!
  • Our annual Pumpkin Bowl flag football tournament to benefit PolioPlus will be held on October 13. More info to come soon.

Additional reminders:
  • Reserve your Fall Bucky bead shifts to raise money for Rotary Youth Exchange here
  • As we welcome our new exchange student, Eric, consider completing the background check process if you’d like to help bring him to events during his time with us

See you on Sunday!
