Hello everyone,

As I'm sure you've heard by now, Brocach Irish Pub will be closing its doors this Sunday.  I know many of us really enjoyed the space we had there along with the great service, food, and drinks that came along with it.  As we bid them farewell it's time for us once again to envision what we'd like our club to look like.  This is an exciting time as we get to continue to define the atmosphere at our meetings.  While the space we're in plays a big part in this, it's not everything.  What really defines the character of our club meetings is us and how we interact with one another and our guests.  Every meeting I get such positive energy when I see and experience the connections that are being made and the relationships that continue to grow amongst us all. So, thank you to everyone for continuing to make our meetings a welcoming place, no matter where we are.

That being said, we have an exciting new meeting spot for this Sunday: the stunning Park Hotel on the Capitol Square (22 S Carroll St).  When you enter from Carroll St, head to the left where we will gather prior to the meeting at The Post.  We will have full bar and food service from 6:30 - 7:00pm at which time we can head one floor down to our room at the bottom of the steps.  If you'd like to order food, please place your orders at the bar by 6:40pm so that the food is ready for you to bring downstairs when we head down by 7:00 for the meeting.

In addition to the superb location for this Sunday's meeting, we have the pleasure of welcoming Carole Trone to our club to speak about The Fair Opportunity Project, which aims to help students by improving access to college. Carole is a fellow Rotarian from the downtown club and is a passionate and engaging speaker so please do invite new guests to enjoy this meeting with us!
