Happy New Year everyone!
We have a big quarter coming up. I hope you've all had a restful holiday season!
Looking ahead to our calendar, I'd like to call your attention to our holiday social on 1/11 (next Thursday!), our Ronald McDonald House dinner preparation event on January 31st, our Kids Against Hunger meal-packing event on March 16th, and District Conference on April 18-20. All of these events would be a great opportunity to introduce a new person to Rotary. Please consider inviting guests and volunteers!
Please help us to promote our Kids Against Hunger event page! We are trying to get to 50 volunteers on that date, so that we can pack up to 30,000 meals!
And please help Brad out by signing up for Saturday shifts in our Lussier Community Education Center Food Pantry volunteer spreadsheet for this year! Our next Food Pantry date on 1/13 will be before our first club meeting of the year on 1/15.
Thank you for everything that you do for our club and our community!
On Saturday, March 16th, our Rotary Club will be packing nutritious meals for shipment to impoverished people in Africa and/or Northern Wisconsin, in partnership with Rock County Rotary Kids Against Hunger!
We are seeking up to 50 volunteers to help out, and we are seeking financial sponsors! To volunteer, email us at madisonrotaryah@gmail.com, and we'll include you in future communications!

Location: First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1609 University Avenue, Madison
