We have a lot of other exciting events coming up as well, including a wine tasting social, ecological restoration work party, club brunch social, and more! See below and the club website (www.madisonrotaryah.org) for additional information on all of these events.

Additional reminders:
  • Reserve your Fall Bucky bead shifts to raise money for Rotary Youth Exchange here
    • Spots are still open for the Badger game this Saturday!

Greetings Erin!
A big welcome to new member, Erin!

Erin is a Cardiac Monitor Tech and Unit Coordinator at Meriter Hospital. She received her bachelor's degree from UW-Madison, majoring in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and French. During her time at UW, she was a member of the Hoofers Sailing Team and Vice-Commodore of the Hoofers Sailing Club.

Growing up in Ohio, Erin spent a year abroad in Quimper, France as a Rotary Exchange Student, which fostered an enduring love for travel and exploration. She is currently the Homestay Captain for Ironman Wisconsin, placing professional athletes with local host families for the race. In her spare time, Erin enjoys planning trips with her husband Jason (also a Rotarian), cheering for the Badgers, cooking delicious food, and spending time with her two cats.
New member alert!
Say hello to our new member, Mary!

Mary is the Membership Engagement Coordinator at the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC of WI), a construction trade association in Madison. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising.

Mary has been aware of Rotary and has attended club meetings and events with her dad, who is the current President of the Waukesha Rotary Club. She is excited to continue in her dad’s footsteps of giving back to the community and helping those in need.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling as much as possible. Nashville is her favorite travel destination, and her and her husband, Mark, have a 9-month old, 80-pound yellow lab named Nash, who takes up most of their free time.
Welcome Mark!
Join us in welcoming our new member, Mark.

Mark serves as a Policy Advisor in the Wisconsin State Assembly where he handles constituent concerns as well as researches and develops legislative proposals. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University, majoring in History and Political Science.

Mark has been aware of Rotary for years but did not obtain intimate knowledge of what Rotary does and has to offer until he met his wife Mary. Mary’s family has been involved in Rotary for decades. His first experience with Rotary was volunteering for a service project where Rotary partnered with Blessings in a Backpack to pack thousands of bags of foods for school kids in need of extra nutrition. Mark is excited for the chance to give back to his adopted community of Madison through his involvement with Rotary.

He enjoys many outdoor activities in his free time including boating, hunting, and golfing. Travel is also a pursuit that Mark enjoys with his wife Mary.
