President's Message
Hi all,
A very big thank you to Erin and Christina and John for supporting and reffing in our charity volleyball tournament last Saturday! Seven teams joined us and we raised $420 toward our Kids Against Hunger meal-packing event in February!
Please sign up here for Ironman shifts next weekend if you haven't yet, to help us meet our goal of staffing 15 shifts! Several volunteers are still needed for the 11:30am Saturday shift that Connor is captaining ("Run Aid Station #1"), so please especially consider joining us for that shift!
Then on Saturday September 14th we will be selling Bucky Beads to continue to raise money for Kids Against Hunger. Please email me or our club account if you can make it! We currently have 4 volunteers, and are seeking a couple more, for shifts from 8-10am and from 9:45-11:45am on that morning, leading up until the Badger game time.
Note that we will not be having a meeting tomorrow, due to the Labor Day holiday, but please join us on September 16th for another working meeting at the Midtown Police Station!
Come hear an update this week from Sidney Schrage, the Community Engagement Manager of the Lussier Community Education Center, regarding their latest community initiatives and volunteer needs!
Guests and visitors welcome! Social in the Post Bar at 5:15PM. Meeting at 5:45PM in-person and on Zoom.
Join us each month when we volunteer at the Lussier Family Education Center's food pantry. Our shift is the second Saturday of each month, 10:45 am-12:15 pm. Click below to access our sign-up sheet.
