News & Updates, March 13, 2019
Hi all,

We have a great meeting planned for Sunday as a fellow Madison Rotarian will be joining us to share an opportunity to get involved in a project in Guatemala– check out the details below and don’t forget that we will be meeting at The Rigby, 119 E Main St, rather than our typical space at Brocach.  In honor of St. Patty’s Day, come sporting your favorite green attire

YP Week is quickly approaching and will run from April 19 – April 27. This is a week-longplatform for individuals to engage in our community through discovery, adventure, and meaningful conversations.  Check out the entire YP Week schedule here.

In addition to the many events our club is hosting in the coming months, some of our neighboring Rotary clubs also have exciting events planned that I wanted to pass along.  At the bottom of this newsletter I’ve included the flyers for the St. Patrick’s Day Cash Raffle, Bowling Against Hunger Tournament, and Food and Beer Pairing. All are sure to be great events that I’d encourage you to check out and support our fellow Rotarians!

See you this weekend,

Chelsea Sheedy
2018-2019 President

SUSTAINABLE SUDS BREWERY CIRCUIT 3.0

You asked for it...Sustainable Suds Brewery Circuit is back for another tour!!!

This event will be the kickoff of YPWeek in Madison on April 20th at 1:00pm. It's time once again to embark on a journey full of suds and sophistication as we travel to and taste more of the multiple Madison breweries participating in sustainable practices with your hosts, Rotary Club of Madison After Hours & SWANA.

This is not your average brewery tour as you will be awe'd by the multiple facets and levels of sustainability of our Madison breweries. Learn how one brewery utilizes a composting program, and how another brewery focuses on energy reductions.

You will receive a free beer or mead at each location. Park near the Great Dane Downtown - there is a ramp connected to the Dane, or Block 89 Parking on Doty.

Please arrive at Great Dane downtown promptly at 1pm & check in with the group downstairs in the cellar. Great Dane will be providing us with beer samples and appetizers so we will have a great start before we hop on the bus!
