President's Message
Happy holidays everyone! I hope you've all been sharing meaningful time with the important people in your life!
For tomorrow night's club meeting, I am very excited to welcome our club member Brenda who will be joining us remotely from Kosovo to discuss her experiences volunteering with the Peace Corps! You can also view her blog here to stay updated on her travels.
Whatever the future brings for all of us, as some of us move out of state, or join other Rotary clubs, I hope that we all continue to feel connected by our shared passion for service! Thank you to Brenda and to our other current and former members who've continued to stay connected with us, wherever your life has taken you!
We're continuing to build momentum for our February 22nd Kids Against Hunger event. Thank you to Ryan and Chelsea for the corporate donations that you've recently secured!
Please also note that we'll be having a holiday social at the Garver Feed Mill in lieu of our December 16th meeting. And we have an upcoming service event at the River Food Pantry at 3:45pm on Wednesday January 8th. We're seeking five volunteers to staff that shift. Please email me if you can make it!
On Saturday, February 22nd 2025, our Rotary Club will be packing nutritious meals for shipment to impoverished people in Africa and/or Northern Wisconsin, in partnership with Rock County Rotary Kids Against Hunger!
Join us each month when we volunteer at the Lussier Family Education Center's food pantry. Our shift is the second Saturday of each month, 10:45 am-12:15 pm. Click below to access our sign-up sheet.
