Hello fellow Rotarians,

What a great start to the year!  We have two new members to welcome into the Club:  Humza Khan and Deb Herman.  Humza is new to Rotary, and Deb is a transfer from Madison South.  It's so exiting to see our club grow and thrive as we add members and the energy and ideas that they bring.  We are halfway to qualifying for the $1,000 new member grant from the district, so let's keep up the energy and get it!

Our speaker this Sunday is Fibre Forward, a brand new (January 2019) Madison non-profit.  As an arts education charity, Fibre Forward's mission is to foster access to fiber arts for all.  They do this through providing fiber arts resources to the general public at no cost.  Entirely donation-driven, this fiber arts community effort inspires new fiber artists and connects member of our worldwide fiber arts community with access to free resources, instruction, supplies, and more.  I've been stitching and knitting since I was a little girl, so I'm really looking forward to hearing from these ladies about the work they are doing in our community.

See you on Sunday,

Erin Luken
2019-2020 President
