Wine Tasting Class at Table Wine ** Update: We will be rescheduling this event to ensure a good turnout. Stay tuned for a future date. ** “Tasting a wine without knowing what it is can be exciting or daunting. At this event, we'll approach blind tasting with a fun attitude and see what can be learned about your own sense of smell and taste when you can't see the label. This tasting focuses on strengthening fundamental wine knowledge in a new way. Table Wine is located in the vibrant Schenk-Atwood neighborhood. We're the neighborhood shop where you can find a thoughtful, unusual selection of wine, beer, and spirits for everyday occasions. Inside our lovely store, we have a wine bar where you can enjoy drinks with friends.” Tickets for this private event are $30.

Join Habitat Young Professionals and Rotary After Hours as we build Little Libraries for different Habitat for Humanity of Dane County neighborhoods! Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books are exchanged each year, profoundly increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. One of the most successful ways to improve the reading achievement of children is to increase their access to books, especially at home. But according to the U.S. Department of Education, up to 61% of low-income families do not have any books for their kids at home. Little Free Libraries play an essential role by providing 24/7 access to books (and encouraging a love of reading!) in areas where books are scarce. During this volunteer day we will be building several Little Libraries that will be installed in various Habitat neighborhoods throughout Dane County at a later date!
